Two sizes: small for aquariums under 250 litres, large for aquariums over 250 litres.

The nano CO2 mist membrane gives excellent dissolution, the materials are durable and maintenance is easy — a diffuser for novices and expert aquascapers alike. It is used like a regular glass atomizer diffuser but dissolves more of the CO2.

How a CO2 diffuser works

A diffuser makes the CO2 entering the aquarium easier for plants to take up and wastes less of it. As the gas passes through the porous membrane it breaks into streams of tiny bubbles; with their larger surface area they dissolve readily into the water and raise the CO2 saturation of the aquarium.

How to use it

Connect the regulator to the diffuser with our CO2 tubing and tighten the safety nut. Set the regulator to at least 2 bar as a starting point; the diffuser needs a working pressure of at least 40 psi (about 2.8 bar) to work at its best. Allow a few minutes for the pressure to build up before the CO2 starts to pass through — it may not start instantly.
